"My food was really good. I was very impressed. I had jerked wings (flavor was on point). I had a side collard greens, cabbage, rice and peas. My only takeaway was that I wish the wings were a little bigger, they seemed a little skimpy."

"On our way to Wisconsin to visit my grandkids, we wanted some soul food. I Googled and looked at a few choices. I called my cousin who lives in Racine and she mentioned Dada's and since it was closest, we went. There were customers eating inside, which is a good sign. We were warmly welcomed by Rico, the owner and chef. We were given ample time to peruse the menu and presented with a lemonade 'flight' to to sample! Finally we chose the catfish, and that was a great combination of crunchy on the outside, tender flakiness on the inside! The yams were yammy, the collards were good, but could have been heated prior to serving. Rico says a bar is in the works in the near future. I suggested that they consider having sweet tea in this Southern cuisine themed restaurant. The paint job leaves something to be desired, but when you enjoy what you're eating, it's not as noticeable. Rico and Niecey are gracious hosts! Glad we came, and we'll be back !"

"Food here is good authentic homemade style dishes flavor was nice on the meatloaf and the dressing was great. Only complaints would be the pork chops were abit dry and fatty I usually wouldn't complain about portion sizes but in this case less is more I'd feel better paying 15 a plate for one portion instead of 2 or three for $20-24 per person. The cake slice was very small for $4.50 so that was disappointing and the fact they didn't have mac n cheese at the moment but what I did eat I enjoyed. I would recommend this place just be prepared to wait and pay a good amount of money."

"The food was excellent- loved every bit of it. I had the jerk chicken and my wife had catfish nuggets. The spicy jerk is no joke, and the catfish nuggets were amazing. Good blend of spice, fish, and breading. Soul food done right. The service was great,and the employees were friendly."

"Food was OK. The only thing on my plate that was good was the macaroni. Greens were not spicy whatsoever and the catfish tasted mediocre. Feel like I was overcharged as well but it's not a big deal. Also, I didn't really like the Lady that cooks the foods attitude you would think for a new customer she'd have a better attitude. Maybe she had a bad day. The lady in the front was really nice though."
